I'm going to swim into all this violence, black eyes, and our tears in the lake. I'm going to watch the cloudburst explosions above, the terrible rain, white-hot fractals of lightning. It will storm for days, it will be vicious, like Viking swords falling down, piercing the water until it bleeds black and blue waves on the clay-colored shoreline, the sandy beach of yellow-sun-lit bodies, and badly beaten, battered, purple bruises between you and me.
