If I were a mouse, I'd eat a piece of cheese they dropped while watching TV.

If I were a mouse, I'd hide under their couch, and run to the kitchen while they fall asleep.

If I were a mouse, I'd find a piece of bread next to the table leg. I would take it back to my secret place, it's under the hallway bathroom. It is the size of an old, worn out suitcase.

If I were a mouse, I would smell sweet scents when they take a bath, I would hear the door open all the time, my tunnel would lead to my home that is made of bed foam, and anything I could find.

If I were a mouse, it would be lovely.

If I were a mouse, I'd feed my little babies, we would be warm and cozy, we would have heat from a broken vent, and blankets made of tattered bedsheets, stolen cloth and lint.

If I were a mouse, I would have big gray ears that could hear everything, my eyes would be black and wide, bright and shimmering, my senses would be sharp, and I would be very smart.

If I were a mouse, the night would be mine, I would disappear, I would go to a place that no one can find.
